Electronic music and technology festival in Nizhny Novgorod wins award

The jury of The European Best Event Awards (Eubea) has recognized the Alfa Future People of Electronic Music and Technology Festival as the best musical event of the year.

This is the first time Russia has been given the award in the 10 years of EuBea's existence. The jury consisted of 30 professionals from the industry and the key criteria for the award were creativity, economic effectiveness, technological preparation and the location where the project took place.

The Alfa Future People Festival was staged in Nizhny Novgorod for the second time in the summer of 2015. More than 100 conductors and musicians performed during the six-day event, which was attended by more than 40,000 people. Moreover, 200 tons of gravel was used for the event, 25,000 burgers were eaten and the Wi-Fi zone covered a space equaling 30 soccer fields.
