Russia is building ten new stadiums for the football world championships in 2018. RBTH looks into who is building these new arenas, and how much these large-scale projects will cost.

The Russian Minister of Sport Vitaly Mutko has once again reviewed the cost of staging the FIFA World Cup in Russia in 2018. According to the timetable, the cost of completing the program to prepare for the tournament has dropped by 44 billion rubles ($1.3 billion) and is now 620 billion rubles ($17.5 billion).
