Ice-cold Nefertiti welcoming guests at ice banya in Moscow

The All-Russian Ice Carving Competition took place in Sokolniki Park, Moscow. The best sculptors, designers and artists from all over Russia worked together to turn 90 tons of ice into truly amazing exhibition.

Russian Literature is the theme for the competition this year:  characters from Pushkin’s fairy tales and Krylov’s fables are on display and have already proved popular with children. Older audience might enjoy ice-copies of masterpieces of world’s art which are erected in the park as well. All ice-sculptures are creatively lit with the colored lights.The ice-show will remain open till March.
