Russia is ready to send an observation mission to the Crimean referendum.

Russia is ready to send an observation mission to the Crimean referendum. The mission will also include representatives of other states, Federation Council Chairperson Valentina Matviyenko said.

"The Russian Federation will form a referendum observation group. We will invite colleagues from other countries," Matviyenko answered a media question on Friday.
