Russian Muslims extend condolences to people of France over terrorist attacks

"Russian Muslims grieve with the people of France for the innocent people killed by the terrorists, who again revealed the true appearance of terrorism, which has nothing to do with the concepts of motherland, nationality and religion," the report says.

Extending its condolences, the Central Spiritual Directorate of Muslims of Russia said it is determined to "actively resist any manifestations of terrorism and terrorist attacks, no matter what national or religious forms it puts on."

"We are calling on all people of good will to consolidate in the fight against this horrible evil. We are deeply convinced that the political leaders of the modern world should have a deeper realization of the global challenges, which can only be successfully met as a result of united and collective efforts taken by the entire global community, only on condition of the right and coordinated building of global and national political priorities," the statement says.
