For the fifth year in a row, classic car lovers will gather at the Mercedes-Benz Classic Club to take part in the Mercedes-Benz Classic Day event and watch the Mercedes old-timer rally.
The event is expected to attract more than 40 owners of 1930s-70s vintage cars, including famous actors, musicians, businessmen and other media darlings.
Classic car fans are welcome to visit Revolution Square to see the cars leave the start line. The rally will pass through the historical centre of Moscow and finish near the Catherine Palace, where the awards ceremony will be held. Among the Mercedes Classic Day participants last year were radio and TV anchors Serguei Stillavin and Vladimir Tishko. Rare vintage Mercedes cars were driven by fashionable socialite Oxana Robsky and popular TV anchorman Dmitry Dibrov, the year before. And 2006 saw film producer Tigran Keosyan and couturier Denis Simachev. This time the rally organizers invited Konstantin Krukov (actor), Tina Kandelaki (TV presenter), Evelina Blyedance (actress), Alexei Tchadov (actor), B-2 (music group), Alena Sviridova (pop-singer), Dana Borisova (TV presenter), Lada Dance (pop-singer), Garik Kharlamov (comedian) and other showbiz personalities.
