RUSSIA CALLING is one of the leading events for attracting investment to the Russian market, which has remained on international investors' radar screens despite the current situation on the global financial markets. RUSSIA CALLING is the first investment Forum of international standing being held by Russian leading financial institute. Earlier before such kind of Forums were held under the guidance of international banks only.
The Forum will run for three days. On the opening day, one of the plenary sessions will be attended and addressed by Vladimir Putin, Russia's Prime Minister.
Alexey Kudrin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Elvira Nabiullina, Minister for Economic Development, as well as other senior officials confirmed their participation in the Forum.
The agenda of the remaining two days will include a number of panel sessions with senior government officials, executives of Russian state and major international corporations, as well as influential business leaders of Russia.
It is envisaged the conference bringing together over 300 Russian and international investors with representatives from some 150 leading Russian companies, including those that are already traded on the Russian and international stock markets, as well as non-public companies that have shown an interest in the securities market.
