On February 16, 1976 the first KAMAZ (a famous Russian truck) rolled off the main assembly conveyor in in Naberezhnye Chelny, Russia. Today, heavy duty models are exported to Eastern Europe, Latin America, China, the Middle East, and North Africa.
One year ago the Indo-Russian joint venture KAMAZ VECTRA MOTORS LIMITED officially launched the assembling of KAMAZ vehicles, located in Hosur, near Bangalore, India.
