Dog sledding is not very popular among Muscovites because compared with other cities in Russia the temperatures in Moscow are not low enough to allow the sport to bloom. However, this winter residents and guests of the Russian capital have an opportunity to try it out.
The most popular dog breed that takes part in mushing (transport powered by dogs) is the husky. And it is children that are first attracted by the sport, or means of travel.
