Esteemed Dr Singh,

Kindly accept sincere congratulations on the occasion of the National Day of India – Republic day. In more then six decades since your natiin's independence, India has become the world's largest democracy with dynamic economy and social sphere. This has brought to modern India well-deserved authority and respect of the world community.

Russia is determined to further improve in every possible way our special relations of privileged strategic partnership and consistently implement agreements reached at annual summits, which have become a good tradition. 

Through joint efforts the Russian-Indian dialogur is advancing fruitfully. New promising projects and initiatives enrich multifaceted ties in trade and economy, scince and technology and in humanitarian field.

A am convinced that constructive cooperation on the whole gamut of bilateral and international agenda helps in unleashing the greater potential of our close and mutually beneficial relations for the benefit of the Russian and Indian people and in the interest of building a just, democratic and secure world.

I wish sound health and success to you, Mrs President and Mr Prime minister, and peace and prosperity to the friendly people of India.
