RBTH serves as media partner for China’s biggest exhibitions

In June, Russia Beyond the Headlines (RBTH), an international project of Rossisykaya Gazeta, served as a media partner for Russia’s involvement in three large-scale events in the Asia-Pacific Region – the XXIII Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair, the Beijing International Tourism Expo (BITE) 2012 and the Hong Kong International Travel Expo ITE HK-2012.

The Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair took place on June 15-19. The Russian display, which was organized by the Russian Regional Development Ministry, focused on Russia’s travel potential. The Russian stand also presented monthly RBTH supplements in the South China Morning Post (Hong Kong) and China Business News (China) newspapers.

At the Beijing International Tourism Expo (BITE) 2012, held on June 15-17, RBTH acted as a media partner for the Russian stand of the Federal Agency for Tourism, which presented a display of exciting travel destinations in the Russian Federation.

RBTH also provided media support for the Hong Kong International Travel Expo ITE HK-2012 on June 14-17. RBTH was part of the Russian stand, organized by the Tourism and Hotel Business Committee of Moscow.

In the Asia-Pacific Region, Russia Beyond the Headlines publishes supplements on Russia in The Economic Times (India), South China Morning Post (Hong Kong), China Business News (China) and The Mainichi Shimbun (Japan) on a monthly basis, with a combined circulation of 2.5 million. RBTH plans to launch English-language supplements about Russia in Australia, Taiwan and Singapore along with a new Indian supplement about Russia in Hindi by the end of 2012.
