Russia ranked 9th on investment list

Russia has climbed from the 10th to the 9th position on the list of countries with a high influx of foreign investments.

The influx of foreign investments in the Russian economy amounted to $52.9 bn last year, The Financial Times reports.

Russia is thus ahead of Australia by about $10 bn and is moving closer to Britain, which is ranked 7th with $53.9bn.

The United States, China, and Belgium retain the three top positions on the list.
