Foreign retro cars are much in demand in Russia


A unique festival of vintage cars Retro-Fest which became a grand celebratory event for the numerous visitors, exhibitors and journalists took place in Sokolniki park, Moscow last weekend. Festival Square hosted collectible cars of the European and American manufacture. There were so many people wishing to walk around the exposition that the huge queue formed in the 4th Luchevoy prosek.


A large-scale entertainment program took place within Retro-Fest. It included musical presentation of retro bands, competitions of Russia’s largest car clubs, vintage clothing display, interactive platforms and even a flash mob organized by the Central City Business Library. The main highlight of the festival was retro parade. Cue automobiles accompanied by professional animators made the solemn drive.



According to the guests, such magnificent events are held not very often in Moscow but the creators of Retro-Fest promise that it is to become an annual tradition.
