Drug control service officers have seized some 11.5 kilos of heroin in a rented apartment in Moscow and arrested four citizens of Tajikistan, a spokesman for the Federal Drug Control Service department for the Moscow region told Interfax on Wednesday.
In analyzing intelligence, drug control operatives identified the leader of a group of drug dealers and the place where he lived. "He was renting an apartment in Moscow, which he had turned into a heroin warehouse," he said.
Four citizens of Tajikistan were in the apartment during the man's detention.
A criminal case on drug trafficking charges has been opened, and all the men staying in the said apartment have been arrested, the Drug Control Service spokesman said.
