Putin: Budget for next two years should encompass all social obligations

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that the budget for 2013-2015 must meet all social obligations to the country's citizens.

"A budget of development needs to be put together, and social obligations to citizens fulfilled," Putin said at a meeting devoted to the draft federal budget for 2013-2015.

It is necessary, Putin said, to carry out the Russian president's orders of May 7 and maintain macroeconomic indicators.

"We have to consider the country's real key tasks, the interests and needs of the regions, and it is correct in this connection to evaluate the priority in the economy, social policy, keeping in mind the pension sphere, and education, and healthcare, infrastructure, road-building, defense security," Putin said.
