European, South American, Asian military attaches come to Vladivostok
A delegation of military attaches is visiting the Russian Pacific Fleet Vladivostok base, the fleet press service told Interfax on Wednesday.
The delegation includes 60 military diplomats of Europe, South America and Asia accredited in Russia, it said. The attaches had already visited Khabarovsk, where they were told about the military command structure and shown a video of combined forces' combat training under unified command.
"The visit to the Pacific Fleet main base will also be eventful. It will start with a briefing of the fleet combat training department head and a tour of the Varyag guard missile carrying cruiser," the source said.
The military diplomats will visit the 155th separate marine brigade of the Russian Pacific Fleet on Wednesday.
The delegation will move to Kamchatka on September 20 to meet with the northeastern military command. The departure to Moscow is planned for Friday morning.
