AKA peace exhibition opens in London

The ‘AKA Peace’ exhibition opens in London. The artists participating turned a decommissioned AK-47 assault rifle into works of art to raise money for non-profit organisation Peace One Day, which works towards the establishment of a establishment of a global ceasefire on all ongoing conflicts. The AK-47 is a selective-fire, gas-operated 7.62×39mm assault rifle, first developed in the USSR by Mikhail Kalashnikov. Source: ITAR-TASS
