"We underscored the interest in the swiftest possible switch to visa-free travels. I am very pleased that Mr. Prime Minister [of Luxembourg Jean-Claude Juncker] shares the same approach. I hope that other our colleagues, including in the European Commission, will more actively work on the achievement of common goals," Putin told a news conference in the wake of the talks with Juncker in Moscow on Tuesday.
The parties also discussed Russian-Luxembourgian economic relations at the negotiations, he said.
"The joint commission plays a particular role here. We agreed with Mr. Juncker that the new chairmen will conduct a meeting of the commission in the near future," Putin said.
