Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who is currently attending the 67th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, met with the leaders of U.S. Jewish organizations on Wednesday.
"At the meeting, the sides exchanged opinions on a number of key international and regional problems, including the situation surrounding the Iranian nuclear program, the state of the Palestinian-Israeli settlement process and the situation in the Middle East in general, as well as international efforts to counter anti-Semitism and other forms of intolerance," the Russian Foreign Ministry said on its website on Thursday.
