Today we’re focusing on the role of political decision makers in war and peace issues. We shall start with the airplane incident that sparked off an emotional – if not desperate - reaction from Turkey. We shall then move 50 years back to Caribbean crisis – a vivid illustration of how easily the world can be destroyed by will of a handful of people – and how quickly those people seem to forget about it, and finally we shall hop back into today to take a closer look at those who might be propelled to a position in which they are capable of destroying our world, if they fail to remember the history of their country and the rest of the world.
