Russia is prepared to go as far in cooperation with the new U.S. Administration as the latter would be prepared to go, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in an interview with Moskovskiye Novosti on Wednesday.
"Naturally, we will keep on working with this administration. We are prepared to go as far as the U.S. Administration is prepared to go on the basis of equality, mutual benefit and mutual respect," he said.
In his opinion, the Barack Obama administration will be reshuffled after the election and a new secretary of state will be appointed.
