All advisers to former Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov have been relieved of their duties, Defense Ministry spokesman Col. Igor Konashenkov said on Friday.
"In accordance with the federal law on civil service, the powers of the defense minister's advisers are terminated automatically following the minister's resignation," he said.
Serdyukov officially had several dozen advisers who oversaw the Defense Ministry's financial, educational and social issues.
