Russia and China plan to sign an agreement to construct the second phase of the Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) within days, Chinese Vice Premier Wang Qishan said during the ninth energy dialogue between the two countries in Moscow on Wednesday.
"We will sign an agreement on the second phase of the Tianwan NPP," he said, adding that in the future Russia and China will consider building a third phase.
"I think that we could also have a conversation about the third phase," the Chinese Vice Premier said.
"With our common efforts, the construction of the NPP might be transformed into one of the most optimal variants of joint collaboration in the nuclear sphere," he said.
