The legendary U.S. rock group Aerosmith is headlining a concert on Sept. 5 on Lubyanskaya Square in the center of Moscow. The 90-minute show will conclude a concert in honor of City Day, which the capital is celebrating this weekend.
Besides the American band, emerging British star John Newman, as well as some Russian musicians, including one of Russia's oldest rock groups Gorky Park, the jazz Jukebox Trio and Eurovision 2015 participant Polina Gagarina, will also perform.
During a press conference in Moscow on Sept. 4, Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler admitted that he has Slavic roots. "I grew up with borsch and will definitely try the local cuisine," Tyler said.
