The Moscow theater will present 'Hamlet' and 'A Hero of Our Time'.

The second edition of the World Ballet Day LIVE project will take place on YouTube on Oct. 1, according to the Bolshoi Theater's press office.

This live transmission of the "behind the curtains" life of the world's leading ballet troupes will involve the Australian Ballet (Melbourne), the Bolshoi Theater Ballet, the Royal Ballet (London), the National Ballet of Canada and the San Francisco Ballet.

This year other troupes have joined the project (via recording), including the American Ballet Theater, the Bangarra Dance Theater (Australia), the Hamburg Ballet, the National Ballet of China and the Nederlands Dans Theater.

In total the transmission will last for 23 hours. It starts in Australia and ends in San Francisco.

"The Bolshoi, besides a class and rehearsals, will present two world ballet premieres from last season: Hamlet by Radu Poklitaru and A Hero of Our Time by Yuri Possokhov. The Bolshoi's general director Vladimir Urin and artistic director Sergei Filin will talk about the future," said the press office.

The audience will also be able to participate in the project by posting a photo or video of themselves dancing in front of some city or country landmark with the #WorldBalletDay hashtag by Sept. 30. The best photos and videos will be shown to the entire world during the live transmission.
