Jennifer Lopez, Sting, Iglesias perform at Russian wedding in Moscow

Only Grammys and Russian weddings bring such stars together, Russians joke.

Over the weekend Moscow hosted the wedding of Said Gutseriev, the son of famous Russian billionaire Mikhail Gutseriev. According to Forbes Magazine the Gutseriev family, which owns British GCM Global Energy Inc., the RussNeft oil company and Russian Coal, has become one of Russia’s richest.

The celebration was held for 600 guests at a restaurant in Moscow on Saturday, March 26, 2016.

Several global stars performed at the wedding. According to media reports, Sting was paid 1.5 million euros for his performance, Jennifer Lopez - 1 million euros and Enrique Iglesias received 500,000 euros.

Social networks discussed the scale of Moscow's wedding during a period of economic crisis. Here are several reactions:

"It’s amusing when a Moscow wedding gathers more international artists than any music award ceremony in the country."

"Even if you are the son of billionaire Gutseriev, at your wedding you have to listen to the songs your dad liked in his youth and not that you listen to now."

"Gutseriev by phone:

- Can we get Michael Jackson?

- He died.

- I will pay.

- He died long ago!

- I will pay a lot!!

- OK."
