VTB Group clients can now invest in projects with SCIC equity interest.

Russian state bank VTB has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC) of Vietnam that is aimed at increasing investment between the two countries, an Interfax correspondent reported from the signing ceremony.

The memorandum was signed by VTB senior vice president Riccardo Orcel and SCIC Chief Executive Lai Van Dao.

Under the partnership, VTB Group clients will get the opportunity to invest in companies and projects with SCIC equity interest, while Vietnamese companies will be able to invest through the bank in the CIS and other countries where VTB has a presence.
