Dates for Russian Internet Week are announced

The main event of the Internet industry — Russian Internet Week (RIW 2013) — will be held in the exhibition center at Krasnaya Presnya on October 17-19, 2013. This year the event celebrates its sixth anniversary.

Traditionally, the RIW agenda includes general and professional programs, Program+, and the major Internet 2013 exhibition. Every year, the event draws an audience of around 15,000 people.

For the conference portion of the program, there are six parallel courses in which the main professional directions of the development of the Russian Internet (Runet) will be discussed, as well as its weak points and achievements: analytics, advertising, social media, digital marketing, big data, web development, project administration, cybersecurity, electronic commerce, Runet’s statutory regulation, and much more.

As a separate part of the program, there is also the RIW UpStart conference, which is generally intended for startups and investors.

The Internet 2013 exhibition consists chiefly of prominent companies: Runet leaders, RIW’s partners, and exhibitors from various sectors. There will also be a demonstration from finalists in the startups contest, “Innovation Alley” — a yearly project meant to find and support the most talented high-tech teams.

In total, between RIW and the Internet 2013 exhibition, there are over 100 events, multifarious presentations and promo offers that will be conducted. In addition, the organizing committee and the project’s partners will be holding a variety of extracurricular events.
