The theme of the 18th annual St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which will take place 22-24 May 2014, is ‘Sustaining Confidence in a World Undergoing Transformation’. Much discussion will revolve around the theme of trust and a restoration of confidence in the future under swiftly changing conditions in the world economy.
The Forum’s programme is traditionally structured around three main themes — global economic issues, the agenda for Russian economic development, and key tendencies in technology. Discussions are held in various formats: panel sessions, briefings, round tables, seminars, etc.
In the past, the Forum has been one of the most noteworthy international events of each year, serving as a platform for dialogue on key problems facing Russia, developing markets, and the world as a whole.
