Gaidar Forum 'Russian and the World: Stable Development'

The Fifth Gaidar Forum is to be held 14-16 January 2015 in Moscow at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA). The forum is an annual international academic and research conference in the field of economics. The theme of this year’s Gaidar Forum is “Russia and the World: Stable Development”.

Forum participants will discuss issues from the socio-economic sphere while taking into account new developmental trends of the host country and the world. Special attention will be paid to analyzing the contours of the multipolar world, including questions of financial-economic and social policies, business climates, and regional development. Experts will examine Russia’s existence in the world economic space while taking into consideration the agenda of the Russian government as part of BRICS, as well as new drivers for stimulating the economy during periods of austerity.

Influential representatives of the financial community and business elite, as well as renowned world academics and policymakers will participate in this special event. Thus, the conference will serve as a meeting place for both theorists and practitioners, for both leading international academics as well as the politicians who put ideas into reality, and for representatives of financial circles and the global business elite to address the most important problems facing modern society.
