Russian art masterpieces at Masterpiece Fair in London

This summer, from June 26 – July 3 2013, St. Petersburg Gallery will be taking part in Masterpiece – one of London’s most significant art fairs. Set in The Royal Hospital Chelsea, this show will bring together collectors, art-dealers and curators from all around the world to celebrate some of the greatest works of fine art, antiques, applied art and design.

St. Petersburg Gallery is unique in solely representing Russian avant-garde artworks of the early 20th century. Visitors will have an exclusive opportunity to see fine art, graphic art pieces and sculptures created by names such as Kazimir Malevich, Natalia Goncharova, Mikhail Larionov, David Burliuk, Aristarkh Lentulov and Alexandre Archipenko, as well as female pioneers such as Liubov Popova, Nadezhda Udaltsova and Alexandra Exter.

Porcelain artists Ilya Chashnik and Nikolai Suetin will be of particular interest for collectors of the Russian avant-garde, as their sculptures represent the utopian principle- that it is possible to transform the social realm by means of visual art.
