The Indonesian Embassy in Moscow welcomes visitors to explore and taste Indonesian culture and food.

Moscow will host its first Festival Indonesia on August 20. Wahid Supriyadi, Indonesia’s ambassador to Russia will participate in the festival’s opening ceremony.

Festival Indonesia will be a mixture of entertainment events including cultural performances from five different regions in Indonesia. Exhibitions will feature a traditional wedding ceremony, a show demonstrating Indonesia’s leading fashion designers and a classical Javanese shadow puppet theater. The festival will display products ranging from handicrafts to furniture and will also offer traditional food and drinks, yoga, palm-reading and other activities over the course of two days from August 20-21, 2016.

Festival Indonesia will be held in the Hermitage Garden in Moscow and will be open to the public.
