The Business venue of the 5th St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum this year will gather more than 700 foreign participants and speakers. The acclaimed delegation is coming to St. Petersburg from Italy. Head of Department of Cultural Projects and Innovations, Education and Culture of the European Commission Walter Zampieri, president of the Italian-Russian chamber of commerce Rosario Alessandrello, director general of the Italian-Russian Economics Centre Rocky Malatesta, General Consul of Italy in St. Petersburg Leonardo Bencini and other famous officials and public figures, representatives of cultural establishments from Italy will participate.

The Business venue of the 5th St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum is a traditional space for exchanging experience with foreign experts, state and business officials. Important discussions of crucial topics will take place and numerous agreements on cultural cooperation will be signed here in December. One of the key objectives of the Business venue is to stimulate the inflow of investments into Russian culture and art.

This year representatives of 82 countries will participate in the Forum. Large delegations from China and France (100 persons each) will also participate. Greece will receive the status of the guest-state: the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Greece Lydia Koniordou will become the honored guest from Greece. A delegation from the United States of America (more than 40 persons) will come to the Forum for the first time.

The Business venue of the 5th St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum includes more than 100 events and over 1000 business-participants. The work of the Forum will be covered by about 700 journalists.
