Sochi in Poetry

At RBTH, we believe that nothing gets to the heart of the Olympic spirit better than Japanese poetry about a Russian city written by Americans...

From now until the Opening Ceremony on Feb. 7, RBTH is asking you to write a haiku about Sochi (if you need some inspiration check out our website's section dedicated to the Olympic host city!). We'll run the best ones every day during the Olympics on a special blog on our site!

Here is the haiku the RBTH team came up with:

Olympics in snow

At a resort by the sea

Only in Russia.

Can you do any better?

You can also submit your haikus via Twitter with hashtag #sochihaikuor on Facebook
