Russia’s President Vladimir Putin offered condolences to Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel and Bavaria’s Prime Minister Horst Seehofer.
Putin sent telegrams, where he offered deep condolences to people in Germany following the tragedy in Munich, which claimed lives, press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, said on July 23.
Nine people were killed and 16 injured in the shooting in Munich on July 22. It was an 18-year-old German citizen of the Iranian origin who opened fire. Later on, he shot himself.
