A new settlement of pelicans

Nearly 500 curly pelicans have settled down at a shipyard in Makhachkala, Dagestan, Russia. Due to the minus 25 degree Celsius temperatures, the birds, who are listed in the Red Data Book, prefer this location to their previous residence at the Dagestan State Reserve.
