Each week Olga Shapovalova offers to folk music lovers a multicoloured display of customs and traditions, legends and tales, melodies and rythms of Russia.

On the territory of Russia there live peoples-giants as well as tiny ethnic minorities.

We will travel to different areas of this country, separated from one another by dozens of thousands of miles, visit the Isle of Sakhalin in the Far East, climb up in the Sayany Mountains in the South of Siberia, drop in at the dense woodlands of Karelia in the North of Russia. But to begin with we head to St. Petersburg... Well, why not?
