Vladimir Putin has determined his main economic goal for his new presidential term – for Russia to rise 100 places in the World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business rankings, from 120th to 20th. A hundred steps upward to encourage business. Is it realistic for the country to move up 100 places in the ranking in such a short time?
