Folk box: the Yukagirs

Each week Olga Shapovalova offers to folk music lovers a multicoloured display of customs and traditions, legends and tales, melodies and rythms of Russia and it's numerous ethnic diasporas.

In Siberia, which is an unbelievably beautiful and vast area is our country, there live just under 50 very interesting peoples. For this program, however, we chose to tell you about perhaps the most intriguing of them all. They are called Yukagirs.
