International street theatre festival "Once in the park"

International festival of street theatres and carnival culture "Once in the park" was held last weekend at Moscow's Bauman Garden, Kuzminki park and Gorky Park.

During the three days the best Russian and foreign collectives presented their performances under the open sky.  Among the participants there were some Russian street theatres as well as the European ones - "Cantiere Ikrea" (Italy), "Theatre Tol Belgem" (Belgium), "Teatro Pavana" (Netherland), "Malabar" (France).

 At Gorky Park the "miracles" were provided by more than 15 theatres of different genres. The endless processions of fascinating characters seemed to come from Lewis Carroll's tales.
