On August 19th, 1991 not a single Soviet citizen who switched on the TV
in the morning could understand what was going on. Instead of the usual
programs there was Tchaikovsky's ballet broadcasting on all the
channels. The same day, tanks were brought into the USSR's capital. This
new documentary recreates the events of those three days which changed
