Almost half a way on the road from modern capital (Moscow) to former one (St. Petersburg) there is the ancient city of Novgorod Velikiy (the Great). Founded in 859 A.D. Novgorod was on the crossroad of civilizations – famous transit from Scandinavia to Greece, jointed later to Hansa trade Union . By now it is a conglomerate of historical, cultural and spiritual monuments of Russians worth seeing so this video demonstrates.
