Red Line: Arab Spring comes to Algeria?

Each week, Voice of Russia hosts Red Line, a discussion about global events as seen from Moscow.

A new wave of violence in Mali has spilled over the border into the neighbouring Algeria – a bad omen which we are discussing in the first section of our program. We shall then move on right across the continent to Japan, which is bracing itself for the war with China – another alarming trend of global dimension. And finally we’ll take a closer look at Tahirul Qadri, a cleric, and possibly, a prophet of another revolution, this time – in Pakistan.
