Russia created an unmatched amphibious assault rifle known by the abbreviation ADS. Under water, the ADS fires 5.45x39mm cartridges and can discharge classic cartridges of the same caliber in the air. The magazine of cartridges for underwater firing can be replaced by one filled with cartridges for a standard Kalashnikov.
