Private moon on a lyrical journey around the world

To top all, Leonid Tishkov opened an installation entitled “Yellow Moon” at the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts. Time passed and the moon grew into a full moon. The artist is setting off on an old, bamboo raft similar to Odysseus, following the moonlight. / Full yellow Moon in Museum’s park

Leonid Tishkov
More than ten years ago, the Moscow artist Leonid Tishkov created a light object in the shape of the Moon. Calling his project "A Private Moon", Leonid Tishkov started his journey. Everything started from the roof of his workshop in the south of Moscow and then Paris. The poetic photographs document this years-old artistic performance.
