Special Russian issue of National Geographic, 1914
The National Geographic Magazine itself has not lost its interest in Russia. Since 1914 more than a hundred articles about the country have appeared on its pages.

One hundred years ago, National Geographic published an issue entirely devoted to Russia. On November 19, the American-Russian Cultural Cooperation Foundation will honor the author's grandson for his contribution to American-Russian cultural cooperation.
