The festival’s main categories were: Chocolate and Candies; Cakes; Pastilles; Marmalade; Eastern Delicacies (baklava, Turkish delight); Baked Goods (bread, pies, pastries); Preserves, Jams, Powidl; Ice Cream; Desserts; and, Confectionery Products for Diabetics.
The International Sweets Festival continued its long-time tradition of conducting themed workshops for children and adults, where people could try their hand at being an amateur confectioner.
