Moscow's fountains are relaunched to wash away the winter mood

After long winter season, 82 fountains began to shoot water all over the Russia's capital city. The fountains are located in the most popular areas of Moscow.

There are 565 fountains in the city, and all of them are now ready to operate. They will start functioning throughout the first weeks of May.

By the way, only one of the city's fountains was built before the 1917 Revolution, the Petrovskiy Fountain in front of the Bolshoi Theater. Most fountains were built 10-20 years ago during the city's post-Soviet economic boom.
