From Brooklyn to St. Petersburg, you can find jet skiers or “aqua bikers” jumping and flipping several feet out of water like some engine-driven dolphin. St. Petersburg is perfect for this sport, with the magnificent Neva River opening out to the Baltic Sea. The water can also provide a nice challenge for athletes when the weather gets stormy and the waves grow choppy.
