Russia’s MiG aircraft building corporation assembles MiG-29K/KUB naval fighters at Lukhovitsy in the Moscow Region, where facilities are based for serial production of planes for the Russian Air Force, as well as for other countries.
The MiG-29K is a fourth-generation multi-role fighter, an upgraded version of the MiG-29. The one-seater MiG-29K and the two-seater MiG-29KUB feature improved operating specs and more reliable systems and parts. The planes can be based on aircraft carriers or on ground airfields.
